Jiao Long
Jiao Long, also known as Jiao, is a water creature in Chinese mythology and legends. It dwells in lakes and other bodies of water. Jiaolong can be seen as a lower-ranking creature compared to dragons, but through years of cultivation, it can evolve into a dragon. Jiaolong resembles a dragon in appearance, but with shorter horns or even none, and with protrusions of flesh between the eyes, thus it is called 'Jiao'.
Jiao is a water-dwelling creature in Chinese Mythology, often found in lakes & deep waters. People commonly refer to it as the "Jiao dragon," but Jiao and the dragon are two different beings. The Jiao is considered a lesser creature than the dragon and can evolve into a dragon through long years of cultivation.
Its appearance is similar to that of a dragon, but with shorter horns or even none at all. It has protruding flesh between the eyebrows, crossing between the eyes.
